Do You Need Help? See -- 2024 Welcome to Helping Hands
FOOD AND CLOTHING ASSISTANCE - No matter what your situation, we can help. We are open to all who need food assistance.
Helping Hands Family Center at Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, PCCT. Located at 240 Southern Boulevard. The family center facilitates a drop off location for people who are donating and then a FREE shopping location for people in need. We have food and infant/baby care items, clothing and housewares. Contact us to make an appointment. Fully staffed by volunteers.
Outdoor Pantry -open 24 hours per day at Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main Street, Chatham. Shelf stable groceries are available as supplies are donated. Please take only what you need, many people visit the pantry.
Food Drive - Wednesdays at Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main Street, Chatham for produce, milk and eggs. Please note that the time of the food drive is 3:30. Cars line up as early as 1 pm, so the line does get long.
The Winter Wear and Toy Drive - We collect gently used items for winter.
Delivery Service - emergency cases may be able to have food delivered
Helping Hands Healthy Living Project - produce donated from local farmers
Living on the Streets - are you in the Chatham area and homeless? Your needs are different when you are Living on the Streets. We recognize this, so starting in April 2020 we have brought you the help you need.
Students (for College and Grad Students) - The Chatham area, home to several colleges and universities, has a high rate of students who are struggling to get by. Helping Hands is here to help.
