Since March 2020, The Helping Hands HEALTH & HYGIENE Drive has mobilized the collection and distribution of essential items. Proper Hygiene is as important as food to eliminate health concerns related to cleanliness The organizers seek to provide families with necessities like shampoo, diapers, and cleaning supplies. Having access to such items helps individuals and households maintain good health and build self-esteem, and relieves families of some expenses, freeing up funds for meeting other needs and building long-term financial stability.
When you support the Health & Hygiene Drive by donating, hosting a drop box, or making care packages, you’re helping meet the needs of men, women, children, and infants in need right here in the Chatham area.

THIS DRIVE IS ON-GOING - THERE IS NO DEADLINE FOR DONATIONS.
Due to overwhelming demand, Helping Hands established the Hygiene Kit Program. Throughout our local area, Helping Hands volunteers assemble kits for local families in need of hygiene items.
REGISTER TO COLLECT
As a collection site, you will have the opportunity to assist families by providing them with essential toiletry items. If you are an individual or group looking to donate to the Hygiene Kit Program, please contact us.
